like a told you last time, i will make a review for this movie, i'm sherlock holmes fan, yet it better if in this movie there are professor moriarty...so please enjoy

In 1891 London, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey, Jr.), Dr. John Watson (Jude Law), and Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan) stop Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong) before he performs a ritual sacrifice of a woman. Blackwell remains in prison for three months before he is executed by hanging, but has promised to Holmes, in a private conversation, that three more murders will occur and will change the nature of their world.

While Watson prepares to leave 221B Baker Street to establish his own business and marry Mary Morstan (Kelly Reilly), Holmes is hired by Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams), an old foil, to find a red-haired midget. Holmes follows Adler to discover she is working for a man that remains unidentified in shadows. Three days after Blackwood's death, his tomb is found destroyed, and his coffin contains the body of the midget. Holmes and Watson discover the midget's home containing numerous chemical experiments, but run into thugs that are attempt to burn the building down to cover the evidence. Though they escape, they are arrested for property damage. Watson is released on bail raised by Morstan, while Holmes is taken secretly to the Temple of the Four Orders, an occult-dabbling secret society. Their leaders beg Holmes to stop Blackwood, revealing he was a former member and the son of the current leader; though Holmes refuses their offer, he continues to investigate. Shortly after their meeting, the two senior members of the Order are murdered, and Blackwood reveals himself to the other members, still alive. Blackwood convinces the remaining member to follow him to lead England to take back the United States, presently weakened after its civil war.

Blackwood captures Alder and lures Holmes and Watson into a trap to rescue her; though Alder and Holmes escape unharmed, Watson is bed-ridden from injuries. Holmes discovers a warrant has been issued for him by the Home Secretary, a member of the Order, and goes into hiding, using the time to deduce Blackwood's plan. Holmes recognizes the three murders are tied to the mythological Sphinx, and determines that Blackwell's next strike will be the English Parliament. Holmes works in secret with LeStrade to be taken to the Home Secretary as a prisoner, and is able to confirm his theory before escaping onto a waiting boat on the Thames with Watson and Alder.

The three enter the sewers beneath Parliament and discover a complex machine, based on the midget's experiments, with a radio-controller trigger to release a cyanide derivative into the Parliament chambers, set to kill all but those in Blackwell's favor. After defeating Blackwell's thugs, they dislodge the cylinders containing the cyanide compound, disabling the machine, and Alder escapes with them through the sewers to the top of the unfinished Tower Bridge, followed by Blackwell and Holmes. Blackwell knocks Alder out, but get tangled in the ropes and chains and struggles to free himself. Holmes arrives and explains all of Blackwell's mysticism as applications of science and trickery, and intends to take him back to prison. However, Blackwell slips and falls, hanging himself on the chains. Holmes helps Adler recover, then handcuffs her, but leaves a key to the lock in her bodice. She explains that her employer is Professor Moriarty, warning him of his deviousness. Some time later, the police report to Holmes and Watson of a dead officer found near Blackwood's device, and Holmes deduces that chasing Adler and fighting Blackwood was a diversion by Moriarty to steal the radio remote component from it. Holmes readily accepts the case.

thats quite enough for me....but still i expect professor moriarty there.

Detective Conan The Movie: The Raven Chaser

Good evening all...

after break for quite long i decide to write this blog again....he...he..he

i'm start with movie review from one of my favourite anime (japanese cartoon movie) : Case Close a.k.a Meitantei Conan a.k.a Detective Conan .

did you ever watch it? No? then i'll give you a bit review for this anime

Detective Conan

Detective Conan, is a Japanese detective manga (japanese comic ) series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama and is serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday  since 1994. The name "Case Closed" for the English language release results from "unspecified legal considerations" of the name Detective Conan. The story follows the adventures of Sinichi Kudo, a prodigious young detective who was inadvertently transformed into a child due to a poison.

There are thirteen feature films based on the Detective Conan series. The films have been released in April of each year starting in 1997. Each movie features an original plotline, rather than being an adaptation of the manga's story.

The Raven Chaser

A man driving down a hillside road suddenly realizes that his car’s brakes don't work. Traveling at a high speed, the car crashes into a toll station. The man dies but leaves a mysterious dying message: "Tanabata ... kyo...”

Kogoro Mouri is invited to a big conference about a large murder case. Conan tags along and eavesdrops. Six people were murdered in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Nagasaki and other places in Japan. Because mysterious Mahjong tiles were left beside each victim, the police concluded that the same person or organization committed these large-scale murders. Under Matsumoto’s appeal, Megure and his subordinates, along with the police from other areas in Japan, search for the murderer, while Kogoro Mouri and Conan help.

Unable to find the answer to this puzzling case, the meeting was temporarily adjourned. Conan discovers a police officer walking out of the building and entering a black Porsche. "That car... Could it be…Gin?!” A Black Organization member, who had gone into the Gin’s Porsche and disappeared, is disguised as a member of the police to gain access to the meeting. Conan goes to Agasa’s house and tells Agasa and Haibara. All three agree that the mystery passenger was most likely Vermouth as she is the right height and is an expert in disguise. Why was Gin there? Is the Black Organization involved in this chain of homicides? As Conan is left wondering what interest the Black Organization has in that case, Haibara warns him not to go too far.

The day of Tanabata , in a shopping mall, the police are trying to catch two suspects, a man and a woman, of the serial murder case. They managed to surround the pair, but the man uses a knife holds a nearby woman hostage. Using the inflatable ball, Conan manages to knock the knife out of the man's hand. His accomplice manages to retrieve the knife and aims at Yui but the attack is intercepted by Megure. The knife punctures his abdomen, and he says, "It's alright; I'm 'fat' enough." From this point, he cries out in pain during moments of high emotion, such as big leads in the investigation.

The woman who was used to threaten the police has vanished. Conan follows her to her car and finds a disguised Vermouth, saying that he identified her by a bulge in her ankle, which he identified as an ankle holster for a pistol. She says that the Black Organization needs a memory chip and a new member, "Irish". The suspects gain an alibi because another person was killed during the time of the chase. Satou starts to suspect that a police officer is involved in the case. Conan tries to solve the case by following the dying message lead. He and Heiji find out that there was a fire accident in a hotel in Kyoto, and a young woman named Nana died. Conan tracks down her family and neighbor, and he asks them some questions.

The suspect is now the lover of the dead woman. Conan realizes that the two may have gone star gazing together and that the crime scenes are ordered like the star constellation Ursa Major. The last crime will take place at the Tokyo Tower. Yamamura and Kogoro also find the pattern of the crime scenes, and the police leave for Tokyo Tower.

The members of the Black Organization suddenly become very active; Chianti and Korn impede the police investigation, Vermouth tracks the progress of the case. Gin and Vodka are going to assassinate an important figure. As the police are investigating the murders, the Teitan elementary and high schools have been invaded by unknown persons. Conan goes to Tokyo Tower where many people dressed in Kimonos have gathered there to celebrate the Tanabata.

When the police arrive at a deserted Tokyo Tower, they find Conan and the lover of Nana there. The fire in the hotel in Kyoto killed Nana because she wasn't in the last elevator, which could only hold seven. However, eight people needed to escape. The lover thought one of the seven must have pushed her out, but a family member of Nana testifies that she voluntarily stepped out. He was the last of the seven in the elevator. He is strong and uses a knife to threaten Conan and the lover. Someone shoots the knife out of Nana’s relative’s hands - Matsumoto.

Conan realizes that Matsumoto is not the real one but Irish in perfect disguise. Irish says he doesn't want to kill Conan and that he knows Conan’s true identity but didn't tell anyone yet. Conan wants the memory chip but Irish refuses to hand it over. Irish is a very good friend of Pisco, who was killed by Gin.

Irish is strong and clever, and his gun soon renders all of Conan’s gears useless. Soon Ran arrives at Tokyo Tower to find Conan. She finds him but has to encounter Irish, who is still disguised as Matsumoto. She makes some good Karate hits, but her kick to his face tore off part of his mask, thus surprising her. Irish used this to his advantage and overpowered Ran.

Irish and Conan move outside near the top as soon a helicopter with Gin, Vodka, Korn and Chianti arrives. Irish shows them the card, and Gin orders Chianti to shoot him and the card. Irish is barely alive. Conan tries to drag him to safety, but then Gin notices Conan and tries to shoot him. Irish protects Conan and dies. With his last breath, he said that Vermouth told him that he can trust Shinichi Kudo.

The Black Organization try to shoot Conan but end up damaging the upper levels of the Tokyo Tower instead. In a pinch, Conan escapes by throwing a heavy lamp he found using Agasa's new invention, the expanding suspender. Using it, he bounced it back at the BO's helicopter and damages their engine. The Black Organization manages to fly away but the helicopter crashes soon after. The fate of the four Black Organization members are unknown while Vermouth silently drives away whispering: “That was to be expected from my silver bullet.”

The Detective Boys find the real Matsumoto inside a small house in the woods.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE

if you movie maniac then you should now this new movie from Comic......yes it is 

maybe its too late for reviewing this movie, but as you can see i watch it just last sunday...poor me.  So this is the review...enjoy

In 1845, North-Western Territory, British North America, young James Howlett (Troye Sivan) sees his father John Howlett (Peter O'Brien) killed by Victor Creed's father, Thomas Logan (Aaron Jeffery).  In an act of vengeance, James kills the elder Logan using his bone claws which protrude from his hands.  With his dying breath, Logan tells James that he is also his son. James and Victor (Michael-James Olsen) then run away.

In the following years, adult brothers James (Hugh Jackman) and Victor (Liev Schreiber) are seen fighting together throughout the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, and eventually the Vietnam War, their regenerative powers keep them from being killed in the battlefield. James is forced to act as a check on Victor's ever-increasing rage and ferocity.

In Vietnam, Victor kills a superior officer after being stopped from raping a girl, and James and Victor are sentenced to death by firing squad, though their unique regenerative abilities keep them alive.

William Stryker (Danny Huston) approaches the two mutants and offers them membership in Team X, his elite group of mutants. The team consists of mutants Fred Dukes (Kevin Durand), who's super-strong and invulnerable, John Wraith (will.i.am), who can teleport, Chris Bradley (Dominic Monaghan), who can control electricity with his mind, expert marksman Agent Zero (Daniel Henney) and mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds). The brothers join the group, and are sent to the team's first mission: Invade a diamond traffic operation headquarters to retrieve a meteorite used by the leader of the dealers as a paperweight in Lagos, Nigeria.

After retrieving the meteorite, Stryker and the team interogate nearby village people to see if there are any other meteorites. James is disgusted by the murders committed by his teammates and abandons the group.

Six years afterward, James - now going by his last name, Logan - is a lumberjack living with his girlfriend Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins). Meanwhile, Victor hunts down and murders Bradley, mentioning that Wade is already dead. Stryker locates Logan, and claims that someone is out to kill members of the now-disbanded team. Stryker asks Logan for help, but is refused.

Shortly after, Silverfox is murdered by Victor. Wolverine hunts down his half-brother, but is easily defeated. Stryker once again asks Logan for help, and he agrees. Stryker then has Logan's skeletal system reinforced with adamantium, a virtually indestructible metal retrieved from the meteorite found by Team X. Before the procedure, Logan asks for his new dog tags to say "Wolverine", based on a story that Kayla had told him.

After the procedure, Stryker orders Wolverine's memory to be erased, but Wolverine overhears this and flees. Stryker orders Agent Zero to hunt him and take his head off. An elderly couple Travis (Max Cullen) and Heather Hudson (Julia Blake) sees Wolverine in their barn and provide him a home until the next morning, only to be shot dead by Zero.

Wolverine takes out several HMMWV, a helicopter and Zero himself, then goes to Las Vegas. Wolverine locates former associates John Wraith and Fred Dukes (who is now massively obese from a guilt-driven eating disorder), seeking to learn the location of Stryker's new laboratory. Wolverine learns the disbanded team had been capturing mutants for Stryker. One of them, Remy LeBeau (Taylor Kitsch), also known as Gambit, had escaped the island and knew the location. Dukes also tells him that Victor is actually working for Stryker, capturing and killing mutants for him.

Meanwhile, Stryker captures a teenage Scott Summers with Victor's aid. Wolverine and Wraith locate Gambit in a New Orleans bar. Wolverine talks to Gambit while Wraith keeps watching outside, but Gambit suspects Wolverine was sent to recapture him and, using his ability to charge objects with kinetic energy, throws several playing cards at Wolverine that sends him flying through a wall.

Outside, he sees Victor has killed Wraith and taken a sample of his blood. Wolverine fights Victor, only to be interrupted by Gambit. Victor escapes, and after a brief struggle, Gambit agrees to take Wolverine to the mutant prison on Three Mile Island.

Once there, Wolverine confronts Stryker and learns Silverfox is still alive, having faked her death with hydrochlorothiazide. She was keeping track of the mutant to free her sister, Emma Frost (Tahyna Tozzi), who is also in the prison.

With no more quarrel with Stryker, Wolverine departs. Victor, angered at Stryker that he let Wolverine go, demands the adamantium procedure. Stryker, however, tells him that he won't survive the procedure and in an act of rage, Victor tries to kill Silverfox. Wolverine hears Silverfox's screams and attacks Victor. Finally having the chance to kill Victor, Wolverine chooses not to give in to his animal instincts and instead knocks him out. Silverfox shows Wolverine to the holding cells, and he frees the mutants there; among them are Emma Frost and Scott Summers.

Panicking, Stryker prematurely activates his newest creation, Weapon XI (Scott Adkins) (also known as Deadpool), a bald, pale skinned and deformed Wade Wilson, lacking a mouth and with patterns marking adamantium bone structure.

The rescue party approached an exit when it is blocked by Weapon XI who is under Stryker's control. Wolverine tells them to find a new exit as two blades extend from Weapon XI's arms, similar to Wolverine's claws, but more like Wilson's preferred katanas.

At this moment Wolverine realizes that this monstrosity is actually Wade Wilson. Weapon XI has the abilities of several of the killed and captured mutants such as Scott's optic blasts, Wraith's teleportation, and Wolverine's healing ability.

During the escape, Silverfox is mortally wounded. The other mutants escape through the facility's tunnels, guided by Scott who is unable to tell them how he knows the exit. Emerging from the tunnel, the party encounter a helicopter. Emerging from the helicopter is a familiar figure, Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), who has guided them to safety and offers them a shelter at his school.

Meanwhile, the fight between Wolverine and Weapon XI spills onto the top of one of the plant's cooling towers. Weapon XI overpowers and prepares to decapitate Wolverine, but Victor returns to aid his brother. Wolverine and Victor, now working together, are able to decapitate Weapon XI; sending its head, still firing optic blasts, down into the cooling tower. Wolverine coldly informs Victor that despite his help, their relationship is over. Victor simply reminds him that as brothers, they can never be finished, and jumps off the side of the cooling tower. The resulting damage from the optic blasts causes the cooling tower to collapse, but Wolverine is saved by Gambit.

Wolverine asks Gambit to ensure the prisoners are safe, while he returns to find Silverfox, who had stayed behind. As he carries her to safety, Stryker shoots him in the back with an adamantium bullet. Wolverine tries to kill him but is soon shot in the head, knocking him unconscious. Silverfox uses her powers of persuasion to order Stryker to walk away until his feet bleed, then dies from her injuries.

Gambit returns to assure Wolverine that the mutants are safe, but due to amnesia caused by the brain damage the adamantium bullets inflicted, Wolverine does not remember anything (this was Stryker's intention, knowing that even the adamantium bullets could not kill Logan). Gambit tries to get Wolverine to come with him, but he declines. Gambit wishes Wolverine good luck before departing, and Wolverine flees the scene as the ambulances and police arrive.

It then cuts to Stryker, who is approached by a military vehicle and accused of knowing something in regards to General Munson's untimely death.

Finally, at the end of the credits, in a bonus scene, Wolverine is seen drinking shots in what appears to be an oriental bar. Once asked by the bartender if he is drinking to forget, he simply replies, "no, drinking to remember". 

Hmm.....not bad hah.....but i'm still waiting the Sherlock holmes movies this year.......i wonder when its release. it is Robert Downey Jr that become the amazingly sherlock holmes......i can't wait to watch it.....
