Cannot Activate System Restore and Cannot Load a page in browser

couple days ago my laptop seem not well, it getting slower. So when i want to scan it for virus antisipative, i was shock, my avira is in "guard unknown" mode.like this one

Then i knew there was something terible happen with my laptop, so i tried to restore my system, it can be do it by enter:

 Start Menu >> Acessories >> System Tools >> System Restore

yet another weird thing happen, it won't run , the pop up windows say such word:

"System Restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on System Restore, contact your domain Administrator. "

Hmmm, i'm in administrator, so why it can't  be run. I search on google , and i found some solution and  i try this one:

    1. Click Start, Run and type regedit.exe and press Enter
     2. Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ SystemRestore
           In the right-pane:
  •      Delete the value DisableConfig
  •      Delete the value DisableSR
Then my Restore System could run this time, but it error when i choose whatever restore point. It really make me sick. D*mn. So I try portable anti virus and malware, yet i used ISO360 bit and malwarebyte. but I does'nt seem solve the problem.

So i checked the startup application....u can do it by two way:
1. By Msconfig
    klik run   >> msconfig >>tab startup 
2. By TuneUp Utilities StartUp Manager
   
then find something not usual and weird application...in my laptop i find "games.exe"......so i removed it from the startup list , and trace it to the folder it place. Woala i find the folder,  it hide on "RECYCLE" folder. You must set folder option for enable to see it.


delete the entire folder where "games.exe"(in my laptop) hide.
The next step i took is uninstalled my Avira and installed it once again, after reboot. It all work well now....Yatta  i'm so happy.

But suddenly my celebration stop, when i use to browse to the internet, a one page cannot load. I try to ping it by command prompt....and it work well, so i search to the internet to find some of the solution. Thanks god i finally found the solution one. 
it has to be something with winsock , so i download the winsockxpfix. With that my laptop back to normal again...Fiuuuuhhh.

Core i7 .....whats the difference with Core2Duo & Quad Core ?










The fundamental difference between the technology with the latest Core i7 Core 2 Quad is located in Duo/Core2 IMC (Integrated Memory Controller). In the Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Quad, IMC is embedded in the chipset (X38, X48, P45, and so on). . This causes the throughput capacity of memory depends on the chipset capabilities. While the Core i7, IMC moved to the processor so that the chipset could theoretically work is lighter and memory bandwidth throughput speeds much faster because they do not need to pass the chipset (Northbridge).






 Differences architecture Duo/Core2 Core 2 Quad with Core i7
Front Side Bus 1066, 1333 and 1600 MHz processor known in the Core 2 Quad Duo/Core2 turned into QPI (Quick Path Interconnect) on the Core i7. Similarly, the former FSB speeds up to 1.6 GT / s-fold to 6.4 GT / s.  This is because the speed of internal memory controller on the CPU is more effective than the Northbridge memory controller, not to mention the added implementation of Triple Channel DDR3 Core i7 platform. Although, the benefits or effects of the implementation of Triple Channel DDR3 is still not very significant in real applications.
In addition, the Intel Core i7 back Hyperthreading technology implementation (HT) or also known as Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT).  Total core processors on Core i7 amounted to 4 fruit core (core) and each core has a SMT, so that a total of 8 thread on a Core i7 processor.  
QPI (Quick Path Interconnect)
QPI is a replacement bus speed FSB, if the FSB is the data transmission path between the chipset, processor and memory, even simpler QPI. QPI is a data transmission speed of the processor to the chipset. If previously we know as the Northbridge chipset is set processor, memory and PCI-E lane, then the Core i7 processor, chipset, known as the IOH (Input-Output Hub) which serves as the input and output lines of the entire system.

Get Started With Windows 7 XP Mode

With the release of Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate editions, Microsoft is including a little gift called XP Mode. XP Mode is a virtual machine running Windows XP. I call it a gift since to similarly equip Vista would have incurred the additional cost of a license for XP. Microsoft gives us XP mode as a means to having a fully modern computing environment without having to sacrifice legacy support.

Here's a quick guide to getting up and running with XP Mode.

Enable Hardware Virtualization

XP Mode is a non-starter if your CPU doesn't have hardware virtualization support enabled. To check if your CPU is supported, Intel and AMD both offer utilities to identify your CPU and what features it offers. If your CPU supports virtualization, this feature needs to be enabled in the BIOS.

Download and Install Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode

To download both Virtual PC and XP mode, follow this link. XP Mode is a 472MB file, so set aside some time for both downloading and installation.

First install Virtual PC, then XP Mode. Both installations are straightforward and the default settings will suffice for most situations. When XP Mode setup launches and you'll need to supply a password for the local XP Mode user that XP Mode automatically creates on the virtual machine. Finally you'll need to decide whether or not you want automatic updates. After all this information is gathered, Windows will finalize installation of XP Mode.

When installation is complete XP Mode will launch in Desktop Mode. Here, you have access to the full XP environment. Desktop Mode is useful when you want to use a completely separate desktop environment from your Windows 7 base install. It's important to note that by default, shortcut keystrokes are only passed to XP in Desktop Mode when it's running in full-screen. Also, while you don't have drag and drop capability between the operating systems, they do share a clipboard. Also, you have access to the complete host file system while in Desktop Mode.

Virtualizing Apps with Seamless Mode

Where XP Mode really shines is with Seamless Mode, which lets you launch XP apps straight from your Windows 7 menus. To use Seamless Mode, you first install an app under Desktop Mode, then log out of and close the virtual machine. The app you just installed can then be found on the host PC's Start menu under All Programs, Windows Virtual PC, Windows XP Mode Applications.

When the app is launched from the host OS, XP launches in the background and the app appears as if it were running natively in Windows 7. Apps run this way are called virtual applications. If you don't find the default start menu location to be convenient, you can move the shortcut to any location a traditional shortcut can be placed. If the app you want to virtualize doesn't automatically create a Start menu shortcut, or the app is already included with Windows (Internet Explorer 6.0 for example), you simply need to create a shortcut for it in Desktop Mode under c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu and the app will appear on the host start menu under Windows XP Mode Applications.

Seamless Mode isn't completely seamless; there are couple issues with it. In multi-monitor setups, the virtual application only lives on the primary monitor. Also, virtual apps don't want to play along with the Windows 7 Snap feature. Their Windows needed to be manually resized. It's also important to note that virtual applications and Desktop Mode cannot be used simultaneously. Finally, you'll need to keep in mind that a full OS needs to boot before a virtual app can be run, so a little patience will be needed on that first launch.

Despite its few limitations, IT admins will find that XP Mode provides a viable means of coping with legacy applications while fully modernizing the desktop environment.
